ABOUT ME AND MY CLIMBING
I was born in 1989 in Istanbul, TURKEY. I did my first camping at age of five and since then I've been in nature by hiking, camping or cycling. Here is more information about my bicycle tours. I met with rock climbing in my university years and after graduation I decided to be a full time rock climber and I've been climbing since then. I dedicated myself to climbing, lived in a tent for months in Geyikbayırı which is the biggest climbing area in Turkey. After lots of sacrifice and patience, I got results so fast. In my third year of climbing I sent my first 8a+, fourth year I sent my first 8b+ and fifth year my first 8c. Challenge of difficulty in climbing motivates me all the time.
In climbing every type of rock, every route is unique and this endless diversity attaches me into climbing. Besides that, being in nature with lots of different climbers and holding a part of nature with my bare hands are more than enough reasons to climb more.
MY GOALS
When I started climbing it was my goal to reach 9a difficulty level and I still think that it is possible for me. I see climbing as a lifelong sport and I want to climb as long as possible. On the other hand, climbing is a very little known sport in my country and I'd like to inspire people from all ages and show them it is possible and safe to climb rocks for anyone.
I want to see lots of different climbing areas from all over the world and share my experience with new climbers.
And I really want to develop new climbing areas and bolting new routes in Turkey.
